Celebrate Black History Month and Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous dream with Citi Performing Arts Center’s Education Team at your local community center, Boston Centers for Youth and Families, or library, for an Interactive Reading of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s I Have A Dream speech, with illustrations by award-winning artist Kadir Nelson. Led by Citi Center’s Teaching Artists Jeremy Gooden and Cynthia DeJesus, I Have A Dream will inspire all participants to pursue their dreams!
This engaging storytelling experience will include an interactive reading of MLK’s I Have A Dream, with audience participation, acting, and singing.
Interactive Readings: Stories Alive! is a family-friendly program and appropriate for ALL ages, especially those 6-15 years old.
This event is FREE of charge and is sponsored by Citi Performing Arts Center’s Education Department.
