Kelly Prestel

Associate Director of Education

Kelly serves as the Associate Director of Education at the Boch Center, where she manages the City Spotlights Leadership Program and Target Arts In-School Residency Program. She worked previously with the Boch Center as a Lead Teaching Artist and Graduate Fellow, conducting workshops for the Target Arts Program and City Spotlights and developing curriculum for the Dudley Library Arts Festival. She also previously served as Membership and Programming Coordinator for the American Alliance for Theatre and Education, where she expanded national advocacy programming for the Theatre In Our Schools program, and as a teaching artist for several years at the Drama Learning Center in Columbia, MD. Kelly currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Alliance for Theatre and Education as Treasurer. She earned her undergraduate degree in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her Masters in Theatre Education with a concentration in Theatre and Community from Emerson College.
