Exciting Events At the Citi Performing Arts Center

Among the many exciting musical acts this fall, the Citi Performing Arts Center has been busy hosting a variety of other events. Here’s a look at who’s been sharing our stage this fall:

Winning the Customer at Citi Center:

Citi Performing Arts Center was excited to host Lou Imbriano, former Chief Marketing Officer of the New England Patriots, author of Winning the Customer, and member of Citi Center’s Board of Overseers, as the keynote speaker for a recent Boston Arts Marketing Alliance event. Lou's presentation resonated deeply with the audience of arts marketers who left the event eager to apply his lessons for turning customers into fans.

Events Attract a Crowd:

The Citi Wang Theatre was recently highlighted on the cover of local events industry magazine, Biz Bash Boston, and earlier this month hosted the inaugural McGladrey Business Forum, featuring an onstage interview between former news anchor, Natalie Jacobs and ex-Reebok CEO, Paul Fireman, for 240 guests. Next up, the stage will host to the Addams Family Gala and Afterparty on November 5th.

EdVestors and Boston Public Schools:

On October 6, we jointly hosted a gathering of the Boston Public Schools Arts Expansion Initiative Arts Partners with EdVestors. Over 30 arts organizations gathered to welcome Myran Parker-Brass, the new Boston Public Schools Executive Director for the Arts, and hear her vision for the district, review progress on a new arts partners database, and provide feedback on Citi Performing Arts Center’s vision for a city-wide arts celebration in the schools.

ArtsBoston at the Wang Theatre:

For the 4th consecutive year, ArtsBoston brought Boston's concierge, travel and tourism community together with local arts organizations to showcase this season's exciting line up of arts and cultural programming. Over 150 guests were greeted in the Grand Lobby by ArtsBoston’s Executive Director Catherine Peterson and Andrea Rounds, Citi Center’s Chief Development Officer, who discussed our similar mission—to expand community access to the arts and keep Boston a world-class arts destination. Check out photos from the event here.

We look forward to hosting many more wonderful events in the future!
