Che Madyun

Community Relations and Education Associate

Che works for the Education Department at Boch Center and is an Adjunct Professor at Cambridge College teaching courses in theatre and community building. Che is a classically trained dancer who has worked as a choreographer, a dance teacher, and as an actress. She has managed performance venues, has been an arts educator and an advocate for arts education in schools. Along with other artists, she has helped to write the dance portion of the Massachusetts Arts Curriculum Frameworks and The Boston Public School Arts Curriculum. Che is most known for her community involvement and for being one of the founding board members of the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative, DSNI. Che has consulted foundations as well as grassroots organizations and groups on how to engage residents in community building efforts, and is an advocate of resident led community building processes. Che earned her BFA in Dance from Emerson College and a Master of Science in Arts Management from Lesley University.
