Education and Community Programs
Jasmine Garcia is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Arts Management. A Worcester native, she has worked with non-profits like Oak Hill CDC, Healthy Options for Prevention and Education program (H.O.P.E) and Training Resources of America. As a staff member of Dunamis, Jasmine also helps to provide professional development training for Boston’s young performing artists and arts managers. An avid musician, she was awarded Best Solo performance at the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella (ICCA): the world’s largest a cappella competition and currently performs in her band Petrichor. Professionally, she seeks to integrate sociology, arts management and performance towards igniting agency, helping others find identity and make connections through curiosity.
