Unleashed Spirits: The Rise of the Hollywood Vampires

Experience the world premiere of Unleashed Spirits: The Rise of the Hollywood Vampires at the Boch Center Wang Theatre on Friday, September 18, at 7:00 PM, opening the 42nd Annual Boston Film Festival. Directed by Emmy Award winner Daniel E. Catullo III, the documentary follows the unlikely rise of the Hollywood Vampires, the rock supergroup featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry, and Tommy Henriksen. Inspired by Cooper’s legendary 1970s Hollywood drinking club, the film takes audiences behind the scenes, from early rehearsals and recording sessions to performances on some of the world’s biggest stages. At its heart is the unexpected friendship between four artists who found common ground in their love of music. Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, Tommy Henriksen, director Daniel E. Catullo III, and executive producers Ernie Boch Jr. and Paul Geary are scheduled to attend.
