Entry Policy / Code of Conduct
We want every guest to enjoy their time at the Boch Center. By entering the theatre, you agree to follow our code of conduct. Guests who do not follow these rules may be asked to leave without a refund.
Guest Code of Conduct
Please respect fellow guests, performers, and staff. The following behaviors are not allowed:
- Refusing to follow staff instructions, including late seating policies.
- Using abusive or disruptive language, gestures, or behavior.
- Signs of intoxication or impairment.
- Possession, use, or sale of illegal drugs.
- Smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco inside the theatre.
- Throwing objects, fighting, or making threats.
- Sitting in seats not assigned to your ticket.
- Standing in aisles, accessible areas, or blocking views for prolonged periods.
- Heckling, interfering with the performance, or unsafe behavior of any kind.
Prohibited Items
For everyone’s safety, the following items may not be brought inside:
- Weapons of any kind.
- Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia.
- Smoking and vaping devices.
- Balloons, beach balls, or noisemakers.
- Laser pointers.
- Outside food or drink, including bottles and cans.
- Professional cameras, recording equipment, selfie sticks, or GoPros.
- Scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, or similar devices.
- Signs, flags, banners, or handouts not approved by theatre staff.
- Animals (except service animals).
Ticket Resellers
The Boch Center does not allow ticket reselling above face value. Massachusetts law prohibits resale above the printed price. If you purchase tickets from an unauthorized dealer, you risk buying fraudulent or duplicate tickets. In these cases, the Boch Center cannot honor, refund, or exchange your ticket. Always purchase directly through bochcenter.org for guaranteed valid tickets.
