City Spotlights Staff Blog | Week 3 | Saraphym Wright

This summer has been so magical and fulfilling and I am beyond proud of these youth. As a previous teen in this program, I am so inspired to see and hear what these teens have to say. I have noticed so many lovely friendships forming, and beautiful meaningful art being created. 

Flashmob was so successful and where I felt the most proud of them. With there being different levels of dance experience, I was blown away by the effort and participation of every teen to do even the more difficult moves, whether they were a dancer or not.  

I have noticed so much growth in these youth! From projecting their voices more, to participating in open mic, to committing to flashmob. I am super excited to see what additional pieces they come up with for final showcase, and how they bring it all together!
